The pet industry has been prevalent in the
United States as early as the mid 1800’s
with the emergence of pioneers such as F.M
Brown’s, Sergeant’s Pet Care
Products and Blue Seal Feeds. Throughout
this era, these innovators have provided
different foods, accessories, and veterinary
care to our beloved pets. As we moved into
the last decade, our priorities such as
career, family, and retirement continue
to increase, adding complexity to the management
of our daily lives. The pet industry has
responded to this changing society by creating
over three thousand pet daycare and boarding
facilities across the nation.
COMMEMORATE
Our mother, a model dog owner, can truly
appreciate the concept of these services.
She takes Biggie and Monday, our charming
dogs, out for walks frequently throughout
the day. She prepares daily gourmet meals,
and the dogs are hand-washed and blown dry
every two weeks. So conscientious, she bases
decisions solely upon the needs of these
pets, such as what vehicle to buy that will
provide the most space and comfort for them.
When our mother learned of pet daycare and
boarding she was delighted. Many of us share
her anguish when we have to leave our pets
at home, because inevitably, we can’t
take them everywhere with us.
We searched for the perfect facility and
found that very limited activities, scheduling,
resource information and lounging were available.
Dropping off your pet before 7AM, weekend
social calls, various lengths of visit and
a plentitude of pastimes seemed foreign.
In sharing and answering our mother’s
multitude of concerns, we embarked on a
journey that led to the birth of Just Pet
Me Country Club.
